Pressmeddelanden 4 September 2025 2 minutes reading

Inrego is one of three finalists for Sustainability Initiative of the Year 2025, one of the prestigious awards presented by the Swedish Trade Federation during the Retail Awards at Berns on October 1. Together with Polarn O. Pyret and Beleco, Inrego is in the running for the prize.

The jury’s motivation reads:
“By extending the lifespan of IT products, Inrego reduces climate impact by lowering the need for new production, while contributing to a more circular economy. With high standards for quality and data security, they prove that reuse is a smart and sustainable alternative. Inrego also takes clear social responsibility by spreading knowledge, actively participating in public debate, and driving initiatives such as Circular Tech Talks.”

“Being nominated for Sustainability Initiative of the Year is a great honor. It recognizes our hard work to make circular IT the norm. More and more organizations are seeing the benefits of thinking circular, and we’re proud to continue inspiring cost-effective, secure, and sustainable IT choices,” says Henrik Nilsson, CEO of Inrego.

The circular IT market is expanding rapidly. This summer, Inrego reached new sales levels and set a record in August with growth of more than 30% compared to the previous year. The economic climate, increasing awareness across society, and Microsoft’s current transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 are all believed to be driving factors behind these strong results.

About Inrego

By extending the life of computers, mobile phones, and other technology, Inrego helps companies and organizations reduce their climate impact while moving toward a more circular economy.
