Inrego presents a new world standard for environmental reporting in reuse
Inrego, in collaboration with the research institute for environment and sustainability IVL The Swedish Environmental Institute, has produced a new world standard for environmental reporting in reuse. The model makes it possible to measure exactly how much carbon dioxide (CO₂) it saves the environment when we reuse computers, smartphones and other IT products. Never before have we been able to obtain figures on carbon dioxide savings through reconditioning based on category, subcategory and model right down to the component level. With the new model, we make it possible.
The calculation model has been developed and is free to use for all companies and organizations that want to strengthen their sustainability work. Inrego also offers all its customers a precise carbon dioxide reporting based on the calculation, so that every company that sells its used IT equipment to us knows exactly how much carbon dioxide savings they have contributed.
Many companies and organizations are today striving towards climate neutrality by 2030. By having greater control over their climate impact, companies can take big steps towards climate neutrality. Would you like to read more about the new calculation model for recycling savings?
