A Rocket Career at Inrego – From Cleaner to Global Sales in Just One Year
Drive takes you far—at least at Inrego. When Nataša came to Sweden, she started working at Inrego as a cleaner. Ten months later, she stepped into a role as a global sales representative. "I’m a perfect example of how important it is to feel welcomed," she says.
At Inrego, we strive not only to create sustainable IT solutions but also to foster an inclusive workplace where people can grow and thrive. A standout example of this is Nataša Mrdjen, who, in less than a year, has taken significant steps in her career with us.
Nataša, 36, is originally from Serbia. She holds a PhD in veterinary medicine and came to Sweden in 2020 for love. As a newcomer, finding employment was challenging, and she had to look beyond her expertise to increase her chances. She began working as a cleaner around Stockholm, which eventually brought her to Inrego. Her dedication to her work and the relationships she built opened new doors for her at the company.
"Anna, who works at Inrego’s reception, learned that besides my extensive education in Serbia, I’m also a yoga teacher. She saw potential in me and arranged for me to hold lunchtime yoga classes for all employees," Nataša shares.
From Cleaner to IT Specialist
As a cleaner and yoga instructor at Inrego, Nataša soon caught the attention of the production manager. She was offered a position in the production facility, starting in Distribution, where she polished and packed products for sale, and later as a data erasure technician for mobile devices and laptops.
"When others saw challenges or difficulties, Nataša saw opportunities. She’s always eager to learn and has a strong sense of drive—it’s hard to stop her," laughs Elin Lagerroos, Head of Distribution. "She’s been a big reason why I felt at home when I became her new manager a few months ago."
Stepping onto the Global Stage
Thanks to her dedication, it wasn’t long before another opportunity arose. When a position opened in the global sales department, Nataša was invited to apply. She was stunned by the offer and initially couldn’t understand why she had been chosen.
"I was so surprised and even a bit shocked when I got the offer! I remember exclaiming, ‘But why me!?’ to the recruiter. I felt nervous about whether I could handle it, but thanks to the trust and support I received from both Inrego and my husband, it’s been going really well. It’s so much fun to connect with customers all over the world," says Nataša.
Diversity Strengthens Business Relationships – Language as a Key

On the global sales team, colleagues speak Italian, French, Arabic, Romanian, Spanish, and Polish. This variety of languages makes building relationships with customers worldwide much easier. Nataša’s Serbian language skills are invaluable for maintaining strong ties with the Serbian market.

A recent study highlights how quickly newcomers integrate into society depending on where they live in Sweden. Täby Municipality, with 77,000 residents, is one of the communities actively working to integrate newcomers, and Nataša’s rocket career is a shining example of this.
